Good news for anyone worried about the flu.Vaccines are now available to everyone.
On Tuesday, Texas became the 19th state to lift the restrictions, entirely. For months, the shots were limited to high-risk patients. Now the State Department of Health says vaccines can be given to anyone over six months old.
Here in Lubbock, though, the City Health Deparment has plenty of kid vaccines, but no adult doses. So you still need to call your own doctor if you want the shot. There's still time. Flu season runs through May.
