The Importance of Being A Mentor

Studies show that children who have a mentor are less likely to try drugs and more likely to excel in school.

That's why national mentoring month is so important. Saturday the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock and South Plains Community Action Association were at South Plains Mall. The programs are trying to raise awareness of the importance of mentoring.
