Shallowater High School Advances to National Competition - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Shallowater High School is one of ten finalists nationwide in Project Ignition. Back in October, we told you about the school's safe-driving campaign, called Safety Starts with Step One. The students created programs to address speeding, distracted drivers, seat-belt use and aggressive driving.

Now, their efforts will be highlighted during a national conference in California. There, one of the ten schools will win $10,000.
