TTUHSC Receives $5 Million Gift - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center will use a record-setting donation to research aging. Mildred and Shirley L. Garrison presented the Health Sciences Center with it's largest gift to date -$5 million. In return, the institute for healthy aging, has been renamed "Garrison Institute on Aging."

The money will help Texas Tech develop and implement comprehensive geriatric programs.
