Hotel Owner Hires Design Expert

The Holiday Inn Express owner has hired a design expert to handle structural problems with the hotel. The owner closed the doorson Tuesday because engineers told the City of Lubbock it was a structural hazard to the public. The decision came less than twenty-four hours after NewsChannel 11 aired an investigative report, exposing the problem.

Dulan Elder, the attorney for the hotel owner says their engineer will be testing the facility to see what corrections need to be made.
