Iowa Man Pleads Guilty To Pornography Charges
On Thursday morning, 38-year-old Eric Wise pleaded guilty to nine counts against him.

Wise met a Lubbock girl in a chat room on the internet in 2002. Their chatting led to e-mails and phone calls. Later pictures were exchanged, some of pornographic nature, then Wise traveled from Iowa to Lubbock to meet the girl in a hotel room for the weekend. That's where the sexual contact occurred.

It wasn't until Wise contacted a 14-year-old girl from Kenosha, Wisconsin online that the Lubbock investigation began. That 14-year-old contacted police and gave them Wise's hotel information. Search warrants of Wise's hotel and Iowa home uncovered several video tapes, including the sex tape he had made with the Lubbock teen.

The family of the Lubbock girl who is now 15, was in courtroom. They said the ruling was a step in the right direction. But the healing process is one day at a time.

"The parents wanted to let the community know that Eric Wise stole their baby. They did every thing they could to protect her from the evil in the world and through a computer he snuck right into the safety of their own home and snatched her from under their nose. They did everything right that parents try to do with a computer. But they want other parents to know that their are predators on that computer and there's no one that's immune to it," said Pam Alexander, with Victims Assistance.

Wise also faces additional charges in Lubbock County court and similar charges in Wisconsin.
