Texas Tech Celebrates Its 82nd Year

Texas Tech is hosting a birthday bash, and one of the party favors is $1,500 in tuition money.

The University is celebrating its 82nd birthday at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion. It's located southwest of Jones SBC stadium. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and the drawing for the tuition money will be held during halftime of the Texas Tech vs Oklahoma game.

Following the game, there will be a performance by comedian Daniel Tosh. The event is free and open to students, alumni and the community.
