TTU Student Dies In Hit And Run

A Texas Tech student is dead following a hit and run in Northwest Lubbock Monday night.

20 year-old Kedric Hobbs died from injuries he received while riding his bicycle with a friend in the 7800 Block of 4th Street around 7 o'clock Monday night. Police say a red Ford pick-up truck struck Hobbs and fled the scene.

Police are searching for the driver. If you have any information that could help police, are are urged to call Crime Line at 741-1000 .
