Lubbock Students Adopt Local Pilot - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Students at Maedgen Elementary earned their "wings" Wednesday.

The students met SouthWest Airlines Pilot, Captain John Sims Wednesday morning. Sims has been corresponding with the kids via e-mail and post -cards, for the past month. The project is part of the "adopt a pilot," program.
