Investigators Say Rafter Involved In Lubbock Fire

New information in a fire that forced a Lubbock family from their home Wednesday night.

The fire started just before 6pm at a home in the 2100 block of 33rd Street. Fire investigators believe heat from the chimney ignited a wooden rafter in the attic.

The family escaped safely. Total damage estimate is unknown.
