Wolfforth Gaining Signature Support In Alcohol Sales Petition

Alcohol was the subject of a town hall meeting in Wolfforth Thursday night.

A group called Responsible Citizens for Economic Development is leading an initiative to legalize on-site alcohol sales in Wolfforth. Proponents believe these type of sales will help bring a minor league baseball team to Wolfforth.

The group needs 214 signatures to bring the issue to a public vote. Right now 170 have been collected. RCED has until March 14th to collect the rest.
