Local Students Raise $1,000 Kissing Pigs

Kissing helped Ramirez Charter School raise $1,000 for tsunami relief on Friday, kissing pigs that is.

Students voted on which teacher they wanted to kiss the pig, by paying 10-cents per vote. All money will be donated to the "From Lubbock With Love" campaign.

So far, donations stand at $813,165. The goal is to raise $1 million by Monday.

Lubbock Tsunami Concert Tickets Still Available
The concert is Tuesday night, February 15th at 7:30pm in the Lubbock Municipal Auditorium.
