Construction is set to begin as Lubbock Independent School District prepares its campuses for grade configuration changes.
In August, voters passed a $98.8 million bond package. Part of that package includes these changes: $4.8 million will be spent at Monterey High School to build ten new classrooms, renovate locker rooms and create additional parking. Another $1.6 million will be used to renovate and expand Chapman Field at Lubbock High.
