Couple Testifies Against Suspect In Buffalo Springs Lake Burglary - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The victims of a brutal burglary and beating took the stand Tuesday in the trial of Aaron Pugh.

51-year-old Pugh is accused of breaking into a Buffalo Springs Lake home, beating the couple inside and robbing them. It happened on January 14th of last year, at least two suspects stole a substantial amount of cash, credit cards and a rifle.

Tuesday the victims described the horrific night. The man of the house said he was repeatedly beaten with a crowbar and a pistol. He said his hands were tied together and he feared for his life. All the while, his 5-year-old daughter was hiding for her safety.

If convicted, Pugh faces up to life in prison for burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit another felony. Two other suspects are still awaiting trial.
