Antonio Coronado Murder Trial Begins In Lubbock Court - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Testimony started Tuesday in the Lubbock trial of one of three men charged in a 2003 murder.

Antonio Coronado is charged in the death of Frank Ramirez in September of that year. Police say Sylvester Garcia shot Ramirez during a beer purchase on Ramirez's porch in the 1300 Block of Itasca. Ramirez then shot and wounded Coronado as he fled the scene.

Garica is currently serving 40 years in prison, after accepting a plea deal in the case. The third man, Timohy Garcia is charged with murder but has not gone to trial.
