Road Closure Near Texas Tech - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Construction on Glenna Goodacre Boulevard, formerly 8th Street, began Sunday.

This street between University and Avenue U will be closed to traffic for the next four months as construction crews widen the street.

Signs have been placed around this area designating detours.
