Lubbock Police Capture One Robbery Suspect, Two Remain At Large In Weekend Heists

Lubbock Police are searching for two men after a robbery at a check cashing store. The two bandits entered Buddy's Check Cashing on 50th Street around 9:40 Sunday night. The clerk said she handed over some money when one of the two pointed a rifle at her. If you have any information on this robbery, please call CrimeLine at 741-1000.

Meanwhile, police have their man after another robbery Sunday night. This one happened around 6:30 at the 7-11 in the 2300 Block of 19th Street. Officers captured James Aaron Michael minutes after he demanded cash and fled the store. The 24-year-old is charged with aggravated robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
