One of the victims in a brutal stabbing took the stand Wednesday in the aggravated assault trial of a Lubbock man.
Police say Randall Haynes stabbed Robbey Cockrell and his brother after their mother ended her relationship with Haynes in 2003. Cockrell testified that Haynes stabbed him three times in the neck after he confronted Haynes in his mother's bedroom. Haynes then left the home, but turned himself into police less than 24-hours later.
If convicted, the 37-year old could face 2 to 20 years in prison.
