Lubbock Sheriff's Office/ Amarillo PD
New information is released in the death of Martreon Moore. Lubbock police now believe the shooting was drug-related.
The motive comes as authorities make two additional arrests in the case. Texas Rangers and Lubbock police officers arrested 30-year-old Ron White in Plainview on Wednesday. 18-year-old Dominic Kelly of Tulia was arrested in Amarillo and is being held in the Potter County Jail.
Both are facing charges in connection to the shooting that killed Moore last December. You'll remember Moore died shortly after collapsing on the porch of a home near North Bates and East Cherry. Police now believe Moore was a victim of mistaken identity. The suspects were looking for someone who stole drug money from them.
This information comes just one week after authorities arrested 21 year old Justin Lewayne Davis in Clovis, New Mexico. He is still awaiting extradition on murder charges.
