LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Riley Shadle, a 17-year-old junior from Clarendon High School who was seriously injured in a game against Lockney on Oct. 10 got a visit from his favorite team on Thursday.

Shadle has had multiple surgeries after doctors discovered two broken vertebrae that were putting pressure on his spine, along with other injuries.

People across the South Plains have rallied to support Shadle, including Coach Kliff Kingsbury and his Red Raiders.

Coach Kingsbury told Shadle that after he recovers, he would have to come to one of their practices to give them a few pointers.
