The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is now investigating an oil tanker fire that injured a Levelland father of two.
27-year-old Cody Jackson was injured Wednesday afternoon after a "hot oil truck" caught fire, then exploded. Aerocare took Jackson to University Medical Center's Burn Unit, where he is now being treated for first and second degree burns over 80% of his body.
On Saturday, United Blood Services will host a blood drive for Cody in Levelland. The mobile unit will be set up at the United Supermarket there, from 11am until 3:30pm.
In Lubbock, you can stop by the primary U.B.S location at 48th and University, or call 741-1752 to make an appointment.
