The store that helps you "build it yourself" will do some building of its own in Lubbock.
On Monday morning, Lubbock City Council members gave Home Depot the final go-ahead vote to build a second location. Home Depot plans on turning the old Montgomery Ward's building on 50th Street into its new home.
NewsChannel 11 spoke with the company's attorney, Bob Craig, Monday. Craig expects the final sale to be complete by the end of the week. Construction should begin as early as next month. The goal is to open by January 2006.
