Early Morning Crash Sends One Driver To Jail, Another To UMC

One man is in critical condition and another facing drunk driving charges after an accident near Buffalo Springs Lake.

The accident happened around 2:30am Wednesday morning, just West of Buffalo Springs Lake on FM 835. DPS troopers say the driver of the Ford truck rear-ended a sedan. The driver of the car is being treated for severe head and chest trauma at University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, a DWI charge has been filed against 26-year-old Brandan Coffman.
