The arrests in the Patricia Garcia Murder case are proof that Lubbock authorities are working to solve cold cases. Police and the sheriffs department have now made arrests in three of five 2004 unsolved murder cases.
Just last week, arrests were made in the murder of Martreon Moore. He was shot to death in December. Three men are facing charges in this case.
In January, murder charges were filed against two men in the death of Russell Baldree. They are awaiting trial.
Two 2004 homicide cases remain unsolved. The death of Mary Davis, better known as the Candy Lady and the brutal murders of Tammy Cooper and her three children, Mahogany, Kadiece and Kasheim Allen remain unsolved.
