Lubbock Judge Sentences Former TTU Nutrition Director - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The former director of sports nutrition at Texas Tech will go to prison for buying illegal supplements.

Aaron Shelley was sentenced to 33 months in jail and fined $497,000 restitution, in Lubbock court Friday. Shelley pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering in December.

Investigators say Shelley over-billed the athletic department for nutritional supplements. He was fired in February of 2004.
