Wolfforth Residents May Get To Vote On Alcohol Sales - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It appears Wolfforth voters will get the chance to decide if on-site alcohol should be sold within Wolfforth city limits.

A group calling itself Responsible Citizens For Economic Development turned in a petition with more than 200 signatures late Monday afternoon. The petition supports on-site alcohol sales in effort to bring a minor league baseball team to Wolfforth. 

The Lubbock County Elections Office will begin validating those signatures Tuesday. If validated and approved by county commissioners, an election will be held May 7th.
