Marsha Sharp Freeway May Get $5 Million In Federal Funding - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The City of Lubbock asked for $51 million, but it appears it may only get $5 million in federal funding for the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Tuesday, the U.S. House approved the transportation bill with that amount set aside for the Lubbock project. TXDOT needs $100 million to finish the final two phases of the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

The bill now goes to the Senate for approval.
