Big Spring Man Charged With Murder of His Mother - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The West Texas town of Big Spring is in shock after police say a man attacked and killed his own mother. Big Spring is about 100 miles south of Lubbock.

Preston Harris is charged with the murder of 79-year-old Lizzie Harris. The details of the attack have not been released but it apparently happened Monday.

Lizzie Harris was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital where she died on Tuesday.
