2005 Best Walking Cities in America - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A new national survey ranks Arlington, Virginia as the Best Walking City in America.

The ranking comes from the American Podiatric Medical Association which looked at the 200 largest U.S. cities. The survey looked at healthy lifestyles, available modes of transportation and fitness and sport activities.

Eighteen Texas cities are on the list. Austin takes the top spot, coming in at number twenty-nine. Lubbock is ranked number 151. And Laredo is dead last, at number 200.
