Roads with the most damage were in Lamar County, and include Rocky Branch Road, Slade Road, HR Watts Road, Old Salt Road, Old Black Creek Road, Sand Lane, and Herron Lane.

There were reports of a tree falling on a house on Old Salt Road, and a mobile home being destroyed on Sand Lane.

There were no fatalities or injuries reported.

The Oak Grove search and rescue team has mobilized, and has set up a rescue station at the Oloh Volunteer Fire Station.

Crews from the Jackson National Weather Service will survey the damaged areas Friday to determine aspects of the storm, or classify the strength of the tornado if one was spawned.

Oloh Volunteer Firefighters said anyone who needs any tarps or supplies must go to the Oloh Volunteer Fire Department.

Emergency crews stress that if you do not live in the areas hit by the storm to stay off the roads unless you need to travel.

Other counties that experienced damage from Thursday's storms include Clarke, Jasper, and the city of  Bay Springs, according to the National Weather Service.
