Meth Ordinance Effective Saturday, Compliance Meeting For Local Retailers Tuesday

Lubbock retailers must comply with the new meth ordinance beginning Saturday. The ordinance is designed to help authorities track psuedoephedrine sales. An ingredient used to make meth.

The ordinance requires products containing psuedoephedrine to be placed behind counters, instead of on shelves. To learn more information about the ordinance, a question and answer session will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., at the Lubbock Health Department on 19th and Texas.
