City Council Considers Creation Of Junk Board

Getting junk vehicles off the streets will now be the job of the "Junk Vehicle Compliance Board." On Thursday, the City Council created the board to conduct hearings on the removal of junk vehicles.

Thursday's decision comes just one day after Lubbock Police began a monthly crackdown on code violators.
