Wolfforth Alcohol Petition Signatures Validated

Wolfforth is one step closer to putting on-site alcohol sales to a vote.

Lubbock county elections administrators have validated the signatures on a petition to legalize alcohol sales in Wolfforth. Supporters believe on-site alcohol sales will help bring a minor league baseball team to Wolfforth.

The petition now moves on to Lubbock County Commissioners for final approval. If approved, the election will be May 7th.
