Fire Starts Inside West Lubbock Hotel - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

On a day when Lubbock was under a red flag warning for fires, one sparked in West Lubbock.

Fortunately for fire fighters, it was contained within a hotel, so the wind could not fuel it. Construction crews were working on the Arbor Inn Hotel when the fire started around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at West Loop 289.

The building is not open to the public yet, so no one else was inside. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
