Lubbock Police Investigate Mailbox Explosion - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Overnight Lubbock Police say someone was playing with chemicals and caused a mailbox to explode. It happened in the 5700 Block of 68th Street, just before midnight Tuesday night. Police found two plastic bottles with chemical remains near the mailbox.

Police say this is a case of criminal mischief, punishable by a fine or even jail time.
