Head-On Collision Kills One, Critically Injures Another In East Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man is dead and another is in critical condition after a head-on collision near Buffalo Springs Lake.

The accident happened just before 7am Thursday morning on East 50th Street. DPS Troopers believe Mohammad Mansoupi was blinded by the sun when he veered into oncoming traffic and hit a Ford Explorer.

35-year-old Mansoupi died at the scene. Aerocare flew the driver of the Explorer, Jim Davidson to University Medical Center where he is in critical condition.
