Construction to Begin on Highway 114

Construction crews will begin a 2-year project to upgrade a major highway in northwest Lubbock county.

Work on Highway 114, or 19th street, from Milwaukee Avenue to the Hockley County line begins Monday. Construction on the 7.1 miles is expected to be complete in spring of 2007.
