We know gas prices are going up, and now we know how much. Government analysts now predict prices to peak at an average $2.35 a gallon in May.
Here in Lubbock, simply advertising these higher prices is a problem. NewsChannel 11 found several gas stations using the number five upside down because they've run out of the number two.
The average gas price in Lubbock has dropped a few cents in the past few days to $2.18. We did find some stations with gas as low as $2.11 per gallon and some as high as $2.28 per gallon.
