He set a then school record for best field goal percentage in a Conference USA game and knocked down 46.2 percent of his three-point attempts on the season.

Millinghaus prepped for Coach Tyson Waterman at Believe Prep in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He came away with 28 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists per game as a senior. He garnered First Team All-Large School during his junior and senior seasons.
