County Commissioners Join In Fight Against Colon Cancer

Lubbock County Commissioners are joining the fight against colon cancer.

Monday morning they formally dedicated 2005 the year of Colon Cancer Prevention and Detection. This, part of a nationwide public awareness campaign on behalf of the American Cancer Society to raise awareness for the personal need to be tested for colon cancer, a deadly disease which is 90 percent preventable.
