Lubbock Hospital Releases Apparent Victim Of Shaken Baby Syndrome

The Lubbock baby who was allegedly shaken by his father is home, but he will suffer from life-long medical conditions.

The 3-month-old was released from the hospital Tuesday after spending more than a week in critical condition at UMC. Doctors say the baby could possibly have eye problems and cerebral palsy.

His 17-year-old father, Ricardo Ariaza Junior is behind bars in Lubbock County Jail, charged with injury to a child.
