Red Raiders top West Virginia again

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Red Raider Hunter Hargrove hit a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 7th to help lift No. 5 Texas Tech to a 4-2 win over West Virginia Friday.

Steven Gingery went 6 innings allowing 2 runs and striking out 5. Robert Dugger got the win going 1.2 innings and not allowing a run.  Ryan Moseley got the save.

Tech gets their 40th win of the season and moves to 19-4 in the Big 12.

The Red Raiders close out the regular season Saturday hosting West Virginia at 2 p.m.
