Truck Driver In Satisfactory Condition Following Rollover In Floydada

Taking a curve too fast caused a semi-truck to roll on its side and skid 87 feet.

It happened around ten Monday morning in Floydada on U.S. Highway 6270. A truck driver had just loaded up his truck with cotton and was headed to Dallas. Floydada Police say the driver of the semi sped around a curve, causing his trailer to roll on its side.

Jaws of life were used to remove the driver. Jesus Varela is at Covenant in satisfactory condition.
