Test Results End Lubbock Rabies Scare

A possible threat of rabies in the Lubbock area appears to be over. Preliminary tests indicate a sick bat did not die from rabies.

On Friday, the health department issued a rabies alert after a sick bat was dropped off at the Lubbock Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
