Fire Destroys Trailer In North Lubbock

Fire investigators believe an electrical problem caused a mobile home to go up in flames in north Lubbock Tuesday afternoon.

A burned-up shell is all that remains of the home at 3208 Colgate. The investigators say a refrigerator caught fire around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, burning the entire trailer.

Fortunately, no one was injured but the home is considered a total loss. The mother and daughter who live there will be staying with relatives.
