Texas Tech students, slow down and get ready for more construction near campus.

Crews will start the second phase of the Marsha Sharp Freeway next month. The construction will run from Salem to Avenue L, alongside the Texas Tech campus.

Meanwhile, construction to the West Loop portion of the freeway is expected to be complete by the end of summer.
