Lubbock Citizens Traffic Commission Proposes Speed Limit Changes

The Citizens Traffic Commission decided to lower the speed limit on Avenue D, from 40th to 42nd Street to 20 mph, Tuesday.

They are also suggest these changes: the speed limit on 114th Street from Slide to Quaker to 55 mph, and the Frontage Road from Spur 327 to 34th Street on Loop 289 will be 45 to 50 mph.

These changes must first be approved by Lubbock City Council.
