Some animals get very nervous on the 4th of July with the boom of fireworks through the night.

Did you know the FDA has just approved a drug called Sileo.

The medication is a gel absorbed through the mouth to help dogs avoid what's called noise aversion.

That's another way to say the animals experience panic attacks when fireworks shoot off.

Since some vet clinics are open Saturday morning, if you know your dog is going to go nuts over fireworks, you might call and ask about Sileo. Many vets say it helps calm dogs without making them too drowsy.

The company slogan is…  When noise hurts, Sileo can help.
