Man arrested in Hanson Pipe and Products burglary

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police arrested 36-year-old Joshua Brown in connection to a burglary at Hanson Pipe and Products.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Marshall.

Police say they responded to a burglary alarm. When they arrived, officers found an opening in the large gate surrounding the business.

Officers spotted Brown and he attempted to run away.

Brown was arrested after a short foot chase.

Officers found stolen property in Brown's vehicle, which was parked inside the gated property.

Brown was taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center. He's charged with burglary of a business, evading arrest and had two outstanding warrants.
