The Lazbuddie Longhorns went 1-8 last season but Assistant Coach Jacob Schacher feels 2016 will be better.
"We struggled last year with injuries and finished with 6 players. The boys finished the season. We look forward to having a better season."
This year, the Longhorns add some Freshman off a successful JH team and they're hungry and ready to go and will look to battle in District.
"We have Kress, Whitharral, Amherst and Cotton Center. It's tough. What we lack in numbers and size, we will rely on speed. All the boys are excited to get going."
